I love Instagram because I am always coming across new companies and new businesses that I love. Lou Lou Leather Co. is one of those. I love the Lou Lou Leather Co. earrings and I love the story of the owner and how she got started too!
Kelby Craft is the owner and founder of Lou Lou Leather Co. She started her business in April 2019. Her nickname growing up was always “Kelby Lou”. So when it came time to come up with a name, Lou Lou, was of course something personal and true to who she is. First and foremost, she loves the Lord. She is from a small town in south Georgia called Vidalia, “Where the Sweet Onions grow”. She is married to her college sweetheart. They have been married for 2 years this summer. Kelby is a Pre-K Teacher and currently working on her Masters in Education.
I was always trying to find my “thing” and a way to try to make a little extra money to help pay for my schooling. I have always been obsessed with leather earrings. Well with a little research, prayer, and support from my husband I started my little business in my laundry room during spring break. It took plenty of trial and error but I finally found the perfect leather and designs for my customers!
